Will Windows Phone 10 run smoothly on a 521?

Just curious, if windows phone 8.1 update was slowing my 521 down, will a bigger update like WP10 slow it even more down?

Doubtful since they are still present on my 1520.

Sometimes the loading/resuming happens to my 920, but I am on the dp8.1.1.

I guess it is possible that we may face loading in the older/weaker wp

Yes. And Microsoft has been trying to fix that in Windows 10

I would stick to the official releases on a 521.
On my 521, the Dev Preview was causing a lot of lag and performance issues. I had to flash back the original firmware with the Nokia Software Recovery Tool to fix it.
When the official Cyan came, it was a lot more smoother.

I know that but even with 8.1 the speed reduced greatly. I'm asking if 10 will fix it or not. The 521 isn't high end.

Look at the Xbox 360, 8 years post launch the OS continued to add features and yet still perform remarkably well. I suspect windows 10 will be customizable enough to run very well on even the lowest end hardware.
