Win 10 backup using File History cannot find USB Drive

Can anyone tell me the trick? I clearly have a USB Drive connected and mounted. I can copy files manually. Why is the super duper special snowflake requirement of File History that prevents it from seeing my USB drive?

There is plenty of space
It is formatted in NTFS
It does not have any special sleep mode

I don't get it. I have this issue with a bunch of hard drives.

And, of course, File History gives ZERO indication jus that it cannot find any available drives.

I am using X-copy right now but it is annoying there is nothing in Win 10 to file backup easy.

Is there any solution that anyone has found?
