I have been noticing this issue since build 14388 on mobile that when i copy some text from a mail inside outlook mail, and try to copy paste and search for the same on edge , edge freezes for a moment and crashes.
i have tried this over and over again with same result. As of today i am on the latest redstone build 14393.5 and with latest release of outlook mail app.
No i haven't reported this on feedback hub yet, i want to know if this is happening for everyone or just me.

i encountered cmos error few weeks ago and i am still facing it after changing the batteries too. the error was regarding faulty time and date setting which was likely because the cmos battery ran out of power. I replaced it with fresh batteries, fixed the time and date of the system but the error still remains.

Hi, I have just tried it and it doesn't happen for me on my Lumia 930 (running 14393.5).

What system are you having the cmos error with?

its a pentium 4- 3ghz -ht enabled cpu on an American megatrends bios. i have rechecked the batteries and they are sitting perfectly in the slot, but ain't updating the time and date after shutdown.

Is it possible to get hold of a multimeter?

i could get my hands on it, if i bother to walk up to a hardware store. :winktongue: but no its pouring down heavily today and the streets are flooded with water so no i cant xD

well the batteries were brand new and i hardly have any doubt that the batteries are at fault, the positive and negative terminals are too touching the batteries as they should. no idea whats wrong. @_@

Could still be giving a low voltage if they have been in storage for a while, only a multimeter would confirm the voltage.

Is it a coin cell battery? (eg CR2032)
A common fault is the solder that connects the battery holder can become dry and this would give the same symptom as a bad battery.
