Any truth to the rumor that if you buy it you will get to choose what gets installed?
I am not a gamer, I don't need Xbox sitting on resources better used for what I DO WITH MY COMPUTER.
I don't need Cortana but could use the resources it is sitting on.
I don't like Edge or Bing. They are for the escaped natural selection crowd.

I could go on but those of you that have been using a PC since DOS have seen the road to any moron can use it and the resulting waste of bandwidth not to mention the dilution of a search to include things that don't match what you put in the search box. . . ;>)

That it will not like and feel like a phone?

I don't think there is such a thing called Windows 12 or any other future versions will be released aside from the new Windows Core OS. Which is something different.

As like anything with Windows you can turn off, removed, etc things you don't want.

So in general, Windows 10 is it. It's an evolving OS.

Retail keys are usually pretty slim anyway. You can still remove what you don't want through the Control Panel.
