Win. MR & Odyssey+ displays SBS 3D as 2D SBS. How to display as 3D?

I have Win. MR with Odyssey+ HMD. All works great in 'Portal'. I select 'Movies & TV' from the menu and play an archived SBS 3D movie from both a system 'Video' folder OR direct from a USB 3.0 Thumbdrive, but the displayed result is 2D SBS exactly like what I get with my laptop monitor. Other software that I have is 'VLC Media', 'StreamVR', and 'BigScreen'. I don't know if 'VLC' operates within MR, and if so, I don't know how to access it within MR. I have NOT been able to locate any buttons/options within 'StreamVR' that allows viewing 3D within MR, and 'BigScreen' says that my system does not meet their requirements, yet everything that I've read says that it should. How can I watch archived 3D SBS movies with my system?
