Windows 10 and desktop icons, can I get some help?

windows 10 and desktop icons

minecraft have stopped working after something scans my programs in windows 10 and mark them either a red X or a green V type so to speak on the icon. Now it doesn't show after a restart but the program is still unable to work properly after this.

What is scanning it? You might want to check your antivirus.

i don't have a antivirus. so that is why i am asking this question too. i want to know what the cause can be too
