WPCentral Question
This is a gateway laptop with 8 gig of ram. Originally purchased with Windows 7, I upgraded it to Windows 7 professional.
The upgrade went smoothly, there were no errors detected. Other than the system not going into sleep mode and not realizing it is running on a laptop, I have had no issues with Windows 10.
Windows 10 does not acknowledge the battery life, does not go into sleep mode and when the battery dies, it simply turns off with no warnings.
I have lost files during the unexpected shutdown.
How do I make Windows 10 Acknowledge that it is running on a laptop and start displaying battery, and gracefully shutting down.
