Windows 10 install, where are my word and excel files?

windows 10 install where are my word and excel files?

I did the install yesterday - no problem. When I tried to open Word and Excel today, they were empty. All of my files were gone! Can I get them back?

Can you find the files in Explorer?

The recent files list (not the files themselves) was probably cleaned out.
