I know a pain to do, but may need hard reset to exit insiders. I put all my phones (3 Lumia 650,1 idol 4s) off insiders and on production. All found build automatically.

You do have to preform a hard reset and get out of insider and the update will work. Got it working on my 640 XL now trying it in my mates 929

She gets texts from a limited number of people and no MMs messages. Her phone is the Lumia 950. I have reset the phone and looked at cellular settings but they look OK

All of a sudden wife's phone is working OK. I think maybe the problem was on T-Mobile's end

You had to use the WDRT to do that? I tried it with my 640, but couldn't get it to update to the 15254 updates without switching back to insider, or maybe I just wasn't patient enough.

Yup, I was on the insider program and that was the issue. Used WDRT to go back to stock then stepped through the updates and now I'm finally on .401

Hmm, I did the same, and mine doesn't give me the 1709 update (15254), it stops at 1703 (15063).

fulnix I am glad that's fixed, T-Mobile here also. No problems but I am on regular production builds & 950XL dual sim.

I used Lumia Flash but I do think WDRT does the same thing. That is the only way to get out of Insiders now. Then you have to manually install WP 10 1511 using iutool. Then you can fake the 950 and update to the latest 1709 build. Worked on both my 640XL and my mates 929. I broke down and bought a 950 to carry me to 2020 when WM10 will no longer get updates.

Ok that makes more sense then. I will have to look into that, but probably not worth the effort.
