Windows 10 mobile L830: Battery drained during update, phone stuck in update loop

Last night my phone started updating, but this morning it doesn't start up.
It seems stuck in update failing loop. Shows updating screen and then sad smiley face
;-(
I tried to use Windows Device Recovery Tool, but since phone keeps restarting, it resets the USB connection, so the tool doesn't recognize the device.

Can anyone help me get my phone working?

your device will never boot up in this state, you need to run windows device recovery tool and roll back to wp 8.1. then again start the upgrading process
