When will Microsoft decide that it's time to pull the trigger on all those compatible phones, and let them upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile automatically rather than having to use the Upgrade Advisor app?

use feedback app and social media to let them know to do such, I've done so and many others should, that's only way more phones will be on windows 10 ecosystem, not everyone know about Upgrade Advisor, it needs to be replaced with small system update to do same job of "Enable Upgrade" which Upgrade Advisor is doing.

It's a sort of security check, opposite of desktops: users must be completely aware of what they are going to do.

its not windows phone 10 mate, its windows 10 mobile, you're not upgrading on top of the 8.1 you love today, you're just replacing it with a brand new lookalike, with all the pros and cons that it implies
