How about adding choice? Just that one element added to the UI and everyone would love it.

See? Not so hard to come up with, was it? Consider yourself enlightened, on me.

Isn't the choice already available? As its been possible to change icons since Windows 3.1.

Indeed, and if they could amplify that philosophy across the whole OS it would be just dandy.
