I think it is always good to have diversity when it comes to Microsoft products. They did adopt a strategy windows 10 across devices. But to be honest I don't belive they should neglect windows 10 on mobile devices. I think it can be a great move that nobody expect if windows 10 on arm can be ported to existing high end mobile phones.

I just hope I can update my Surface RT (Not holding my breath). I think Windows 10 on mobile, unless Microsoft can create their own category is finished. They are looking now at mobile mixed reality and new technologies.

I totally agree and believe Windows 10 on ARM is a big part of their still blurred strategy. A significant improvement in the Windows Store and UWP apps is also part of this.

Let's hope they launch a new brand of mobile phones running full Windows apps and programs through Continuum, etc. (possibly running Windows 10 S out of the box, upgradeable to Pro) and don't abandon and retry again with some form of retrenchment.
