Windows 10 on Lumia 820?

How is the mobile experience on the lumia 820 with w10 insider builds compared to wp8.1.1 with Lumia Denim? Would I have to worry about the battery life changes? Is the Lumia 820 going to get latest builds of windows 10, or ist it just stuck at a specific build without a chance for future updates by microsoft?

Something worth noting is that people's experiences vary, even across the same build and model.

It's certainly better than it once was. I would just be ready to hard reset the phone in case battery life becomes subpar. Personally I've seen both degradation and phenomenal battery life so YMMV.

Also, the current public version, 10586 AKA Threshold 2 is the end of the line for the 820. You'll probably see updates until the Anniversary update launches this summer, where your phone will be left in the dust.

So, it wouldn't be a worthy upgrade, as it's my daily driver and I wouldn't want malfunctions? Maybe it's not worth it to leave the wp8.1 experience (with less bugs). Also the camera would downgrade without the Lumia Camera app.

I'm happy with 10586.242 on my Lumia 920. There are a few annoyances (mainly Cortana being flakey), but I would not go back to 8.1. I like the new features for the most part.
