Windows 10 optimize hard disc

From my laptop Control Panel, I've analyzed and now I'm optimizing the hard drive on my laptop.
How long will it take?
It's saying "running" and "Pass 6: 36% consolidated".
How many passes will it do?

When you do that, it'll take a while and its generally something I would do overnight, especially in the past. (although I have an SSD and don't use that tool anymore.)

I think we usually are looking at several passes.
