Hello guys,

I have been running Windows builds for a while now. I am currently running the latest build/ RTM, and it lags quite a lot to be RTM. Scrolling in Edge or Chrome is not smooth most of the time, the cursor lags and skips frames. Modern apps take a lot of time to open, splash screens take a long time.

Photoshop and Illustrator are slow as he**. I have a pretty strong computer but it is not behaving like so.

Should I clean install Windows 10? Would it fix it? And how do I do it?

The apps would obviously need updates from the developers. About Edge it is not just you it is everyone!! If you wait for a couple of months you might have updates to fix these things. Clean install will help to some extent but may not be your solution

I would be interested to know what kind of specs your machine has. I've ran 10240 on both a workstation and on a older dell latitude that only has 8GB Ram and an early i5 dual core and the machines run fine with windows 10. I have noticed that with edge they slow down however I believe that that has to do with edge not being really finished and still a beta more than anything else.
I would say at this point I'm not seeing RTM being laggy or slow, so it may very well be time for a clean install come wednesday with the RTM iso.

Same specs as you and my computer is just one year old.
