Windows 10 says I only have 4gb of ram when I have 8gb, why?

Windows 10 says I only have 4gb of ram when I have 8gb

I just installed the windows 10 update and I notice when I look in the properties of my computer it says I only have 4gb of ram installed when I have 8 gb installed on my motherboard (two of 4gb). I had no such problem on windows 7 64 bit.
