Since I installed windows 10 on my venue 8 pro the stylus no longer works. is there a fix for this?
, probably not, what you could do is getting a thick microfiber stylus that fits nice in the hand. It can work decently (though feels a bit like drawing with a thick marker) and is very cheap on chinese sites (especially the microfiber one). It worked on my Venue 11 pro, don't know if the venue 8 pro has a very different screen (don't think so).Any update to this? Bringing up an old post, but didn't want to start a new one. I have the Dell Active Stylus and the Venue 8 Pro (updated to Windows 10), and can't find the driver to make it work.

Whatever you do, don't get those capacitive active pens since those most likely don't work on the screen because of the screen's coatings (I had that with my venue 11 pro).
Just out of curiosity, have you tried downloading the Windows 8/8.1 drivers for it?Any update to this? Bringing up an old post, but didn't want to start a new one. I have the Dell Active Stylus and the Venue 8 Pro (updated to Windows 10), and can't find the driver to make it work.

, yeah you won't find the good stuff, only ok/passable. I found microfiber to be the best overall (it is smoother that rubber, lasts long and safe for the screen) but some have too small tips. Also the one with the transparent disk can be somewhat accurate (/you can see better what you are doing with fine strokes), but it can damage weak/plastic screens.Do you have a link to one you suggest? I searched and found tons, but they all appear to be a normal stylus you can get as a normal 'giveaway' and those don't work too well for note taking. Thanks!

Here is one that combines both but I am not certain if the microfiber is big enough for no jitter (probably a bit too thin):

E.g. this is most likely thick enough but the handheld is crap:

While this one appears to be too thin (which results in having to press hard for good contact with the screen which is not comfortable):
