Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones still due in February

Microsoft today released the Windows 10 Technical Preview for PCs and tablets slightly ahead of schedule. With that update, many people are inquiring about the Windows 10 version for Windows Phone.

Microsoft was very clear on this point earlier this week during their 2-hour press conference: February.

after the Super Bowl (US event) but other than that, random dates is probably the best we have.

I thought the "It will be released in February, after the super bowl" statement was a little humorous considering it is on Feb 1. Kind of an obvious statement.

Actually, I'm not sure about this, seeing what Windows 10 did to my laptop, I think it's better to pass this.

On the other hand, the hardware customization is less, so maybe it will be a better situation.

i personally doubt there's someone over in Redmond on a Sunday just waiting for the Super Bowl to end so he can hit the big flashing red RELEASE button.
