Why is it called final/official release if it's gonna need a lot bug fixes, a lot patches, lot updates? Latest news says we're going to get big update next week and then another big one in October.
-------------
I hope they'll release new ISO for this cuz this does not make any sense.. I don't want to download big update packages every now an then..
-------------
Microsoft should wait until October and then release Windows for phones and desktops. That would be final release. This was just too early.
-------------
On launch day we should get final product. I don't remember Windows 7 & 8-8.1 had those updates after initial release.
-------------
Didn't expect this to happen.

There is no longer such thing as a final version of Windows. Windows will no longer have version numbers or service patches. From here on out, everything is just Windows 10. It just keeps on rolling along. Never finished. Always improving. Always changing...

Periodically, the ISO's they provide will be updated to include all the patches from the last few months, but even that will be outdated in a matter of days, as we'll receive a continual stream of updates.

It's a brave new world...

Well, then I'll have to deal with. Faster internet speed would be my saviour against upcoming updates I guess.

With W10 (at least the consumer oriented editions), Windows Updates are set to always automatically download and install in the background. Whenever you're not using your PC to its full potential, it will just download the stuff in the background over time. You shouldn't ever have to wait for anything, even with a slow connection.

Just let it do it's thing and forget about it...
