The latest Windows 11 update FINALLY fixed my single biggest remaining Windows 11 complaint: There are Jump Lists again for Pinned Apps in the Start Menu!!!
This is huge for me. I have unpinned a bunch of icons from the Taskbar that I only used occasionally, but needed access to their Jump Lists. Start is now vastly more useful to me and is finally as efficient to get into documents or run common commands as with Windows 7 and 10.
For those who have resisted Windows 11 in the past, I understand your reasons may be different, but try giving it another shot. MS has been aggressive in adding functions (back and new) to Start and Taskbar.
I do still miss Live Tiles and think the Start menu in the middle of the Taskbar is goofy and feels like trying to copy Apple (you can set it to the left, like prior versions of Windows, but then the Widget bar that also comes from the left seems strange, so I leave it at the default location). Overall, in spite of the few weak spots, the pros far outweigh the cons for me at this point.
