Windows 7.8 update for unlocked Nokia Lumia 900

Hi,

I purchased an unlocked Nokia Lumia 900 at&t a few months back. I'm not a resident of the US, however I'm eagerly waiting for the update to hit my phone. As I understand, after being released initially on Jan 31, Microsoft pulled back all updates due to some bugs in the live tiles.

Although they re-released it sometime in March, I haven't received the updates while all my peers are comfortably using their Lumias with the updated OS. My query:

1. Does my update have anything to do with at&t or is it independent of the carrier since it is an unlocked phone?

2. If the latter is true in the above point, HOW DO I GET THE UPDATE?!

Any response would be appreciated and rewarded with e-chocolates.

1. Since your phone is running an AT&T ROM it is dependent on AT&T releasing the updates.
2. AT&T pulled the previous update as you stated and have not started the push for the new rom yet. The new rom is on Nokia's servers and that usually means AT&T will start the push within about a week. Soooo... I expect to see people later this week saying they are getting the new update. Just hold tight, it will happen, hopefully soon.
