Windows 7 doesn't recognize my Lumia 950

Hi,
I have a Lumia 950 but my Pc with windows 7 doesn't recognize my smartphone with Windows 10 Mobile.
I tried to install drivers manually but doesn't work (errors like "MTP too recent" or "RM-XXX drivers no good"),
it's possible that WM10 devices no work on windows 7 but only on pc with windows 8.1 or windows 10?

With my previous Lumia 720 (with WM 8.1) no problems on my windows 7 Pc.
