Windows 8.1 and Toyota Touch Phonebook garbled

Hello!

Since I updated my Lumia 520 to Windows 8.1, the phone book transfered to Toyota Touch contains pair of garbled characters at place of non-English character, as if the phone is tranfering at UTF-8, but the Toyota Touch doesn't understand UTF-8.
Please see the attachment.

Anybody else had this problem?

Hi, exactly the same problem with Czech characters. Toyota salesman told me this cannot be solved at this moment (Lumia 820+Toyota Verso)

FWIW It's not just Toyota. GMs also have problems with some characters in contacts.
