Windows 8.1 Mail app

Maybe it's my version of Windows, but I've been having a lot of issues with the Mail app. First it refused to close after deleting an e-mail. Now it's past that, but it keeps crashing and won't restart properly

Any tips?

You can uninstall it and reinstall it if it's not much of a pain for you. The mail app is in the Store.

I don't really like Live Mail, but I dislike it less than the Mail app. If I were you I'd try that.
