I want to know if anyone has updated their Lumia 620 running Amber to 8.1, using the developers preview. I want to know your experiences or opinions.

I'm sure plenty have (don't know about straight from Amber, check out the 810's - they're stuck on Amber), you might want to snoop around in the 620's section.
Also worth noting that the 520, 720 have the same specs as the 620, so they should perform similarly.
