Windows 8 upgrade nightmare

W

WPCentral Question

I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8 yesterday.
Windows 7 was on RAID 1 SSD. All programs and files on a 3 tb HD. Windows 8 does not access the HD. System restore didn't work. I could not find a way to uninstall windows 8. I used Acronis to clone the OS drive onto a 1tb HD before the upgrade. I tried swapping out the drives but the clone wouldn't boot up. My 3tb was cloned for back up, but it isn't read by Windows 8 either. Is their anyway to get my files back?

The 3tb drives show up in disk management as a GPT partition, but no drive letters and no enabled functions in the pop up menus.
