Windows hello has been blocked

Get this every time I go into the sign in options. I put my pin in to unlock it but then get blocked again I'd I try to use hello again.

Windows hello hadn't worked in the 8 days I've had the phone.

Same thing happened to me. I did a soft reset twice & it fixed it.

Is that done by holding down the power button for 15 secs?

I dunno much about the technology, does skin colour become a problem with facial recognition like face recognition on camera's?

Don't think so. And it's a iris scanner not facial.

Does having a screen protector affect Windows hello?

Ha ha. Found the problem. In sign in options, I had the require sign in set to never. Just changed it to every time and win hello works every time.
