for so long the windows media player has not got any major update . There are still limitations on what video and audio formats it can handle. plus the design still looks old school. I really don't know what Microsoft thinks of that.

Yes, it would be nice if Microsoft were to update Windows Media Player.

WindowsCentral is a fan-based site, with no affiliation to Microsoft. However, I suggest that you visit Uservoice, the official Microsoft site for Windows 10 feature suggestions. That might help Microsoft to know that users want updates to Windows Media Player.
