Windows / Microsoft Camera No Tap To Set Exposure?

So when using Lumia Camera I would often tap on the screen not just for focus but also because this set the exposure based on that point. Very useful to avoid blowing highlights, getting unwanted silhouettes, or similar.
After putting the W10 preview on my 1520 and using the Windows Camera it seems this feature is missing?? The tap now only sets focus with the exposure being based on the centre as far as I can tell.
Is this really another step backwards (I've just come to terms with no more reframe) or is there something I'm missing? Also any tips on how to take photos without this appreciated!

I remember just using that feature in one of my most recent photos. Nonetheless, I just tried it now and the feature is not missing in (Windows) Camera - I simply tap on any part of the screen and both the focus and the exposure level are adjusted. But of course, if the subject is too dark, the exposure won't be adjusted fully.

I'm running 10586.71, on my L1020. What OS version are you running in your L1520?

Same build 10586.71. Strange as definitely not working like that for me, exposure only changes if I move the camera, tapping doesn't change it. Have installed Camera360 Sight which does do it so may have to use that for now and hopefully it gets fixed.

same here. using 950xl with default camera. tapping different objects not only changes the focus but also the exposure.

try taking a picture that there is a bright object in the front and a dark object in the background. tapping different objects should change both the focus and exposure.
