Windows Central Question

At work I'm stuck with a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional thingy (which we cannot and will not change for various reasons anytime soon).
When I receive a new SMS, the receive time is displayed, but once I have read it, I can't find a way to get the information about the time I received it, only the date is visible. (This applies to both the default threaded view and the traditional view I use by setting HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\OEM\SMSInboxThreadingDisabled to 1 (dword, binary).)

Every dumb phone can tell me the receive time of my read SMS, how can Windows Mobile do it?

Welcome to Windows Central.

It's pretty rare to see a post concerned with Windows Mobile 6.1 nowadays.

Nonetheless, I've just checked by Windows Mobile 6.5.3 now, which is very similar to Windows Mobile 6.1. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to display the time an SMS is received once it has been read or once the calendar date has lapsed.

Fortunately, newer Windows Phones, esp. Windows Phone 8.1, permanently display the receipt time of SMS messages.
