Hi,
New to this Forum. Good to be with you.
Wer'e running a range of Windows Mobile PDA's which aren't WM Smartphones. Someone suggested we take a look at the Redfly but I am unsure if PDA's are supported even though they run WM5 and WM6. Any advice helpful.
Thanks
Mike

Loosly speaking, any Windows Mobile device should be supported, provided it's WinMo 5 or 6. Touchscreen devices are better for the RedFly as all of their software expects mouse input (touching the screen is treated same as mouse click), whereas often the SmartPhone sofware won't completely recognise the mouse pointer of the RedFly.

Celiocorp post a list of tested devices on their website, but I wouldn't take that list to be exhaustive, and don't assume that your device not being there means it won't work. Besides - if you discover an issue with your specific device, CelioCorp are very responsive.

Some WM 5 and WM 6 PDA have been found to work. You can always go download any released driver for a Touchscreen phone (like the Tilt or 6800) for either WM 5 or 6 and try it out. The key is to get a driver that is 1) for a touchscreen phone, and 2) for a phone that's the same version of WM that your PDA has.
