windows phone 10 - UI question 'context menu'

I tried the Windows 10 phone OS when it came out, months ago. I had to revert back because I didn't like some of the changes. Shuts anyone know if they increased the size of the context menu? On windows phone 8.1 if you press and hold the context menu that pops up trashes yo the whole screen width. On Windows 10 ir was a small box that made it hard to use.

Also, the icons in the home screen where not uniform. The store, settings and I think internet icons where huge. Was a big turn off to me since tile size should make things stand out not some huge icon. Have they changed this?

TIA!

Re: windows phone 10 - UI question 'context menu'

On Windows 10 Mobile, you're able to adjust the screen resolution and text size yourself. You just simply go settings -> system -> display -> "Size of text, apps, and items on display." From there, you can move the slider to different sizes.

As far as the icons, Windows 10 Mobile has become more uniform in design over the last few months of the insider preview. I think that the ones you mentioned are pretty uniform now. There are still some other menus that are in the process of being changed from Windows 8.1 UI style to Windows 10 style.

They've added a scaling option, so you can manually resize stuff, including tiles and fonts. If that was what you were wondering.

P.S. if you have a device with 5" you can now also add a 4th row on your start menu by playing with scaling options.
