Windows Phone 8.1 Emulator

So, I installed the Windows Phone 8.1 emulator from Microsoft to play around with it a bit. Cortana does not want to play nicely! The setup worked, the text input worked, and the music search worked, but the actual voice search didn't want to function! Has anyone else tried to use Cortana on the new emulator?

Same thing here.

The text input isn't REALLY working though, because trying to enter text commands doesn't work even though it should. I suspect that it's just pointing to a dummy Cortana server or something.

Microphone is enabled, since I can do a song search.

Weird , must be a bug or they have disabled , I highly doubt this :/

Cortana doesn't seem to really be working on the emulator, will have to wait for the beta version on the dev preview.. Keep in mind the purpose of the emulator is to test the app you are writing, not to see the OS.. so it isn't the full OS.. even typing to cortana doesn't really work as showed in the build keynote.. she just pops up with a bing search. Her purpose there is probably to test if you are putting your app on a phone with cortana and to test the voice launch stuff, though then she should still probably be able to hear you

The same here she's not working. Anyone of you guys in the US? Maybe the region which make it not working even if the region is US in the settings

I only played with it for a few minutes, but no, it is not even close to the same as what Joe B showed us.
