Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 on 830

Please post if you have any luck choosing 8.1 Update 2 and not Win10 on your RM-985. I'd like Update 2 but I'm not keen on be required to download Win10.

Obviously I didn't; make my self clear, you updated before today and it was possible. Even you own post put doubts on whether it was possible today "I've actually seen posts here from familiar folks owning a RM-985 and still not able to download Update 2. These are posts from today so..." I was actually hoping gordonfink would reply he as an RM-985 CA-000 like I do and he's doing it today (hopefully) I read that you already did it BUT not today. What you did yesterday ( or whenever ) isn't relevant for today.

Gotcha, the quoted post made me think it was a question for me. BTW, I am running 000-CA too.

Yes it does, just checked that with my Fintie keyboard. BTW its not only keyboards but it also supports bluetooth mouse now...like it literally shows a pointer on screen. I haven't tried it myself but I saw a video on YouTube

Tried to get update to on my US CV RM-985 but was only prompted for the Windows 10 build, which I am holding off of. Accidently installed on my 1520 trying to get GDR2 and its aweful

Looks like Microsoft might have patched something in the last two days. I've a RM-985 US variant running the Rogers Denim ROM and it let me install Update 2 on Friday. Or it could be a Denim only thing?

I had update 2 download and install on my Rm-984 before 10tp installed, still on 10 though so not sure if It will work again.

The RM-985 I was talking about in the other thread wasn't actually my phone - I was helping someone else out (it did work with a code from canadamobile, BTW).

Mine, unfortunately, is an RM-983. Think I'll sit tight - I am signed up for Insider, but don't have the app installed on the 983, because I don't want it popping ahead to WP10. This is my work phone, and I need Office on it.
