Windows Phone Backup

Is there any word on an actual backup system that I don't have to do some kind of upgrade to use. I'm talking about a "hey I've got all the apps I need and my settings are perfect, so I want this to be what my phone defaults to if I ever need to factory restore" back up. I've never used iOS but something more like that, I guess. Once you get past 4 or 5 apps it is a pain in the *** to reinstall them on top of your alarms, social network log ins, lock screen images, ringtones, wifi passwords...... the list goes on, I'm sure I'm missing something. This is the one feature I had misunderstood/ got completely wrong, when I was researching the os and from what I can find it doesn't look to be coming soon or to really get much attention. Of all the feature to ***** about people choose copy and paste. Any way back to the original question is there any news or maybe an unlock solution?

Not as of today, but maybe will be announced on the 24th. They are aware of their need to make backups / reinstalling better, so we will see.

I hope there will be one. One thing I HATE is that if you reset, you lose all your gaming progress. That is stupid.
