How much does WP have right now? Not Windows Phone + Windows Mobile, just Windows Phone.

Sent from my Samsung Focus S using Board Express.

No recent solid data, but the numbers are rising.
Overall % was never good and it probably still isn't.
There is still hope in China and US ...

Actually the reason it isn't good is because they combine Windows Phone and Windows Mobile. That's why its always doom and gloom. WP7 by itself is on the rise bu WM is falling so it hurts the numbers

Combining market share can only improve the %.
It does show slower growth but thats all.
The WM was counted in at the start because otherwise WP7 would have such a small share it could not be drawn :)

They had a nice dip because of dropping Windows Mobile thus it looks like a dip in market share and units sold.

its about 2.5% perhaps 3% now.. qoute from Kantars survey:

"The survey shows Windows Phones increased its share fivefold from 0.5% last year to 2.5% in 2012"

So it's growing. The Survey ended in 19th of Feburary so it has probably raised more since then

IMO, Goal for MS is to get to 5% at this point. They are not going to trailblaze with wp7 at this point, get a good round number like 5% and prep for wp8...
