Windows phone POP client delets mail after about 13 month

Hi, it seems that the POP client of my windows phone is deleting mails on the server that ar older than a certain date. I checked all other clients and they are all set to "never delete" . Is that true?

I don't know what options are available in pop settings as most people these days use IMAP. IMAP makes more sense if multiple people are accessing. It also keeps everything up to date. But you would definitely need to set never delete if this option is in the settings under your email account.
