Windows Phone Recovery Tool Problem

So I have a Lumia 928 and want to roll it back to 8.1 because the GPS has some bugs in Windows 10 currently however when I use the recovery tool it just sits at the reading phone screen without progressing. Anyone else with similar problems and were you able to fix them? Thanks guys!

I have a L625 and I am experiencing similar problems. I installed W10 TP yesterday and I really want to go back to WP 8.1, mainly because the apps aren't opening in W10 technical preview.

Use Lumia Software Recovery Tool (version 5.0.8). It is more robust than Windows Phone Recovery Tool (version 2.1.1)
