Windows Phone sync app for Mac OS X updated to support Windows Phone 8.1

The Mac sync client for Windows Phone has received an update to support Windows Phone 8.1. Version 3.1.0, available now as a free download from the Mac App Store, also brings with it "various UI improvements" and drag-and-drop support for DNG files.

I'm really annoyed that Microsoft would release this broken mess. Is anybody at WP Central going to report on the fact this program doesn't even start up?

It seems to be working here. Maybe delete and redownload from Mac App Store? I'm on 10.9.3 beta on a i7 MBP. Lumia 1020.

10.9.2, Core i5 MBP, no connection with my 820 or my 520 with or without the actual Nokia connection cable.

I'm giving up on it and just using Linux + Music Drop... Looks like I'm not the only person with this problem, but I doubt Microsoft gives a damn about anybody who doesn't use Windows 8.
