Windows Phones - Genenral Question About Updates

Hey all,

I read a few threads about system updates, mainly about 8.1.
I am using the 1520 (AT&T) now, when this update is available, will it be available for my phone? Do updates work like they do with Apple, roll out to all phones? Or like Android where they are only available to specific devices?

Yes, the update will be available for your device. If you have a locked AT&T device, you'll get the update when AT&T releases it.
