Windows Recovery Tool 3.3.31, what did I do wrong?

Windows Recovery Tool 3.3.31

I received an Error this morning on my Lumia 925 phone. I have Windows 8. It said: Error: Cant find a bootable option. Press any key to shut down. After downloading the New recovery tool, I installed it and just before installation I received a message that the software was not properly signed. Where did I go wrong?

That sounds unusual. I would check you downloaded from the right place.
