Windows recovery tool not installing on windows 7

Hello, recently i installed an old version of windows recovery tool and was unable to get a proper try of the insider program because the new windows 10 mobile build required me to upgrade the recovery tool to a new version. Now i am unable to even install the tool on my windows 7 laptop because of some error related to an installation of usb controllers, etc. for which it says incorrect hash value. No other method can help me eject to 8.1 because of this very reason. pls help
