Looking for recommendations for a 10" tablet for around ?200.
Two I been looking at are the Linx 1010 and the Lenovo tab 2 a10.
Can anyone recommend either or is there a better option?

I'm also in the same boat. Want something to replace my Surface RT that can run Football Manager on low settings and some desktop apps such as office and general use.

Do you know if Linx are a good brand?

There not well known. Seem more UK centric. But they seem to sell good budget tablets. Google/Bing "Linx tablet forum" and you'll find an entire forum devoted to their devices. Someone has even worked out how to boot android from a usb stick.

If you can wait, then be patient a bit and get a Surface 4, or Surface 3 which you can get right now at very nice costs.

Going back to the Surface 3, I might be able to get a used one for a bit more of my budget, is there any cons for buying used?

Get the Dell Venue 11 Pro but do not update to Windows 10, 8.1 is great on tablets but 10 is useless when it comes to touch screen!

Without knowing every last detail, I'd suggest considering the one with 64GB storage. 32GB disappears quickly. Or else do more digging to see how much you can unload to an external card, and how that works on W10 vs. W8.1.

If you confirm you can live with 32GB+microSD card, then I'd go for the Lenovo. I tried out this tablet in Best Buy and preferred the 16:10 aspect ratio (especially in portrait mode). I also liked the battery barrel and how it made the tablet feel lighter and better balanced when holding in portrait mode. The speakers were also good. Finally, the built in kickstand was nice.

Agree...the 64 Gb model is the way to go. Have you looked into the Toshiba Encore 2 WT10? It's not top of the line spec-wise, but its build quality and performance are awesome for the price.
