Windows updates won't install

[Windows Central Question]

The cumulative update for Windows 10 v1511 x64 KB3198586 and KB3150513 'think' they are downloading. About every 3rd time I turn on my laptop, it tries to update, tying it up for hours and then does not run and restores to previous setting. Also, other updates are waiting for Adobe flash, Excel, Word, etc. I don't have an error code. My update history says KB3150513 was successfully installed on 11-4 but is stuck at 11%. I am not a tech person. Thanks for your help!

Hi Welcome to the forum! You might try a in-place repair. If that doesn't work you may need to do a refresh-reset.
