This is based on sth that just popped into my mind after having to read through yet another "Rant thread".
MS has said that for PC's w10 is the final stop. There won't be a new windows, at least not in the classical sense, that we've grown to like/dislike. They also said that the innovation doesn't stop, instead we can look forward to "simple" updates to the OS. "Treshold" and the cumulative updates, we've seen so far are perfect examples.
In that case it looks like w10 is also the last stop for phones, tablets, xbox, bands (not so much for the band) etc..
In one way or another we'll all still be working with software that has glitches, that has the potential to be better with the next update?
Even after the launch of w10, non-insiders are having issues (veterans expected that), but isn't just that, driving some away?
