Windows 8 was powered by WinRT API which was modelled from Win32 API with some runtime restrictions.
As per official documentation, Windows 10 is powered by Core UAP which consists of CoreCLR (based on .Net) besides other things.
My doubt is whether WinRT is used in Win 10 and if it does, then what is it's relation with CoreCLR?
And if not, then is WinRT now absolute?
