Ok, so here goes, I just bought a lumia 920, and im currently waiting on the charging plate to arrive, but i already have plans to integrate the charger into my 1997 Chevy silverado 1500 ext. cab
Im lucky enough to have purchased the truck from my dads friend who gave me a steal on the truck, its the maxed out from the factory (in 97 at least) and has a nice center console and leather seats, but what im going for here is the center console. i assume the voltage on the input of the wireless charging plate is standard 12V DC, if I'm wrong ill have to do some rethinking, but if its standard 12v, im going to sever the end with the wall plug, and use an adapter to plug it into the cigarette lighter for now, but i plan on wiring it into the truck permanently so it can be turned on/off with a dash switch. ill post some photos tomorrow or wednesday of what i plan to do exactly. but i plan to dremel into the top of the console, or sand down the underside of the top so theres enough space to send the charge through the plastic, and attach it to the underside of the lid, then ill run the wires under the carpet or along the floor with duct tape holding it for now.
if anybody has a charging plate they would like to donate to the cause i would be happy to receive one, otherwise ill go buy another one.

tell me what you think, and if anyone has a charging plate and could tell me the voltage that would be superb.
when i get it working im going to post a step by step guide on how to do it.
update: added pictures, still have not received my charging pad yet, but in the pictures, the slot in the black piece is close enough to the surface for me to simply stick it in there with a wood wedge beneath it, and it will work!
