Wireless charging 1520 while in case

Hey all,

I've noticed that I can place my Lumia 1520 on the Nokia DT-900 Qi charger with the case on, and it still charges. I know nothing about Qi charging, and haven't been able to find an answer to my question on Google. I was wondering if anyone knows how safe this is? Should I remove the 1520 from the case before charging, or will it be fine? The case is a plastic back piece that I bought off of eBay. I'd hate for the house to burn down - lol. 😆
