WMA Files do not play when Lumia 920 (Windows 10 build 10149) connected thru USB Car Stereo
I'm sure this has been discussed elsewhere in the forums in great detail, but I'm not finding anything particularly helpful.
For what it's worth, I have a 2011 Chevy Equinox with USB audio support. When I connect my Lumia 920, it will not play any audio files that are .wma extension (I suspect these are DRM), mostly downloaded from Xbox Music Store (although not all songs downloaded from store have this issue). The radio will recognize the phone and it displays the tracks for a few seconds then move on to another track. MP3s play without issue. I'm running Windows 10 build 10149, but this has been an issue since WP8.
Does anyone know of a solution to this? Can I choose my file type when I download from Xbox Music?
